As a Londoner who uses the Oyster card to travel at peak times throughout the week, I would like to know if a monthly travelcard on oyster is available and if it works out cheaper?

Yes monthlies are available. For example zones 1-2 is �89.10 for an adult.

The tfl website will have a complete price list
