What's the Pre wash on my washing machine for? And how do I use it? What do I put on the pre-wash section of the draw?

the clue's in the name! For heavy soiled washing you can have a prewash before the main wash. You put your detergent in the prewash drawer.

Read the manual. If you don't have one, many manufacturers provide a downloadable online one.
