I have an Epson sx100 printer/photocopier/scanner, bought last Oct. Generally disappointing as slow and noisy but it has been working ok. Conked out suddenly - shop said faulty ink cartridge (couldn't explain why it had worked ok for 50 bits of paper). They fitted new epson cartridge - no joy: printed a bit, not well, and screwed up paper. Shop said it was fine - bloke showed me photocopied paper to prove printer was working. Now it will print a page off computer e.g. this page but anything of mine e.g. letter comes out with a few random lines or blank or in squashed-up letters! It's a 34 mile round trip to go yet again, and before I start screaming loud enough for you all to hear, please can any clever ABers offer some clues?
It prints some things ok but not others then. Is it a problem with your Word processor ? Try to isolate the fault area by seeing what works and what does not.
