I've read about what it is, but how would it fit into my life when I work 5 days a week?

It's not so much that. The physical side effect of the condition can get you down...it's about learning how to cope and your thought process.

agghhh have I not realised it's serious? I thought I'd be ok in a few weeks and you're worrying me!

My GP did say i may have had it for up to 18 months as he said as i had swine flu in July 2009 it may have been a result of that virus, I know that this back ache i have had is just like when i had swine flu
Prolonged aches and pains can lead to depression.

I read on one site that depression can be related to it, It really is just the physical side at the moment, I've always thought I was too fickle to get depressed. A woman at work who is only 25 (and 6 months pregnant) had it at Uni and she said she struggled to get up in a morning to go to lectures, I struggle to get up in a morning and lately I've been waking up feeling like I was hit by a bus in my sleep (see sqad;s advice in earlier thread) but when you have to go to work to live you go to work,
I know...and sleeping doesn't seem to help. Fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse xx

actually that;s true, sleeping doesn;t help, the way i am visualising it, is the way a body was described in a Kathy Reichs book, the victim was lying on her back and so all her blood had settled at the back of her body, that's how I feel when I wake up every morning, like all the pain is in my blood which has followed the law of gravity and settled underneath me, do you know what I mean?
