my husband runs a car trimming business from home. i'm looking for a insurance company that wil cover the house , contents and business all on one insurance policy. does anyone know of one please. thanks for any replys

I have not come across one - the advice I was given that the insurers do not like doing this and want two separate policies, which is what I have. Could be proved wrong though!

There are somw "working fromm home" policies but in the main they are designed to cover people who have an office at home or store a small amount of stock. I doubt that anyone is going to want to provide the cover you need for working on cars on this type of policy. Speak to a broker who should be able to find you a policy to cover the business aspect.

I just recently renewed my home&content insurance with up to £5000 of business equipment cover as well for well below £230.
