how do you get rid of them?

I'm nearly 50 and overweight (have posted before about my weight gain since taking medication). My 'moobs' are becoming more pronounced (as of course is unwanted fat in other parts of my body)
However, since my early 20's....when I was otherwise quiet fit and toned...I always felt that I had a bit of a flabby chest, so much so that for most of my life Ive found it a bit of a nightmare to go swimming or take my shirt off on the beach. Earlier on this year I had to have a chest xray and I was just relieved to get my shirt on afterwards.
Ive never had a problem been undressed in front of (long term) sexual partners (theres love and trust there) but anything short term and im a wreck. I really dont like my moobs and would like to get rid of them.

Its not in my head either before someone suggests psychotherapy.

Thanks...

I don't think you can't target weight loss.

I know it's not in your head but I bet your chest doesn't look as bad as you think.
Lyposuction.Used to be done by NHS under special circs. There is a medical name for condition.Sqad will know. Loads will do it privately for loads of wonga.
I meant to say 'can' not 'can't'
Gynecomastia

Liposuction alone has no part to play in enlarged breasts in males.

Investigation for underlying causes must be excluded.....e.g liver disease.

Large breasts ( gynaecomastia) due to prostate cancer treatment can be treated by drugs and/or radiotherapy.

The vast number of males with gynaecomastia is due to a hormonal imbalance and can be treated by surgery.

See your GP first as a referral to a specialist is inevitable and one would have to have the opinion of a psychiatrist to suggest that the large breasts should be removed on the NHS.
DT??! A time and place...
