drugs in school

i was caught with drugs in school; i have 4 credits to graduate and i really hate what i did to myself and my family, and everyone around me involved; however i need to graduate. my punishment with the judicial system will come soon. please tell me what i can do to get a school to work with me... anyone's answers appreciated....18 year old in remorse.

You have to be truly remorseful, hold your hands up and say you know you've done wrong, you'll accept your punishment, but you want to turn things around.

If you genuinely are sorry etc. you should be able to get someone to work with you. Even if they don't let back to school, they may have other suggestions for you that still allow you to graduate if they see you are genuine.

Are you in the US or UK? Your reference to graduating from school makes me suspect US. In the UK there are many legal compromise agreements which enable first-time offenders, those carrying drugs for personal use only etc not to be hit with the full force of the law. In addition althougn a school may expel a student, they may generally come to an arrangement to allow public examination work to continue. But US laws and practices may be different.
