Have got a telephone interview next week for a good job but never had one before.

What should I expect? Any tips? Anything I should keep in mind?

Thanks

Just the usual stuff. remain positive, confident and enthusiastic. Don't use any jargon or slang, be clear and to the point. Find as much out about the company you can and ask sensible questions.
Is it for job where you will be using the phone?
good luck!
I had one for my current job - I had a pen and paper handy to jot down questions to ask at the end - only difference is that you cannot read body language or expressions sometimes this can be a plus . I was given a tip to treat it as a normal formal interview even to the point of dressing as you would for a normal interview
I found them much easier than regular interviews as you are in your own environment and can wear what you want, def have a pen and paper handy, and try to make sure you are some where quiet. try and keep a warm and cheery tone too.
good luck!
