I am but I thought I wasn't. When I heard that Suarez had made a racist comment about another footballer I immediately thought ''But he's black too. How can he be a Racist,he's not White.''

Although now retired I've spent many years working or visiting overseas countries. The abusive terms "baster d', or 'mother f***er' in whatever language, preceded by a reference to the persons colour, ethnic group, religion etc is so common around the world as to raise no issues. Should I have been offended when a french colleague refered to me as "you bloody Ros bits". I would cheerfully refer to him as "another annoying frog". No offence meant or taken.
Suarez isn't black! His Grandad is though, and I still don't believe what he said was intended as racist, and I think the whole event has been massively hypocritical in the fact that it's refused to acknowledge different cultural habits.
I personally think what Andy's said could easily be construed as racist..I'm an ace dancer!... but I suspect it was not at all meant, which just underlines how you can't just decide what was said was racist and it has to be about the sentiment behind it!
