^ just for disability until they've explored and exhausted all options as Barry said.

But you need to tell them first abbey

I don't see how the disability can be an issue with the cleaning at the care home that Abbey really really likes right on her doorstep but not at HB or the warehouse or the other jobs she's working at

It can make you very clumsy and also very tired Red.

Abbey has been asked, several times, whether she has received professional support  but has never answered

Question Author

Yes I worked in McDonald's and I think there was someone they couldn't fail thier probation straight away because or thier disability.

Yes flocko when I was 5 I got diagnosed

Abbey

If you apply for jobs mention your dyspraxia and how it affects your ability to work.

You need to stay in a job for more than a few weeks before you will know if you like it.  The longer you stay the more confident you will get and the better you will work.

You need to be motivated and want to work, if you are not able to do a cleaning job what are you able to do?  Stick at a job and don't make excuses for leaving.  Work should come first and then a social life.

HB would seem to be a job with the most potential.  But you have to try and like the job and try to fit in.  You won't like everybody and they won't all like you.

Do you want to be without a good job ten years from now?  If not, you should grow up and accept that you are an adult and act like one.

Question Author

No I enjoy the care home just not enough hours.

Can do but some people haven't got patience.

Abbey, have you received support from a support group or clinic ?

Oh yes Lottie I know that but it will affect her everywhere just not the cleaning.

Yep.

Question Author

Not yet flocko

''Not yet flocko''

So does that mean you are planning to get support from a support group or clinic? You need to ask now.

But you have had it for 28 years?

There are two very good Dyspraxia support groups on facebook which I mentioned to Abbey ages ago

Question Author

I've joined one waiting approval

Abbey, I can't be the only one who's baffled - a month or two ago, some ABers tried to help you with your problem/issue/whatever we can call it, and you shrugged it all aside. This probably left quite a few of us feeling we could be seen as too intrusive!

I think dyspraxia can or will affect an adult quite differently...and I'd not be surprised if it's affected Abbey's performance.

Abbey, you must get a proper diagnosis...and in the meantime it might be better to inform future employers. I don't think it's a good idea to keep it a secret.

Question Author

Yes been advised tell them if they offer me the job with some employers I've had I can imagine it might or might make a diffrence

Question Author

I was diagnosed when I was 5 when a teacher at school said something is not right.

I went a Therapy class and that how it was diagnosed

Your mum must know about it, do you never talk with her about your work and dyspraxia issues?
