I've been given start date on 25th. Do I tell selco tomorrow?

Yes - and then you can work your notice.

Question Author

He said same shifts every week.

Question Author

Yes I haven't booked 22nd off so last day should be 21st.

Ok.  What are the days and hours?

Question Author

Normally about 8-4- 10-6 on Saturday and opening hours for Sunday 10-4

Question Author

What do I say on my notice letter?

So you'll do Monday to Friday plus Saturday or Sunday?

Question Author

Normally four days a week but I'm 8-4 on 25th

The problem is you are already thinking about your next job, and you haven't even started this one. What if you don't like it, stay with it, loads of people have jobs they don't like. You don't need a Beaujolis day, cancel it.

Congratulations I truly hope this works out for you.

Question Author

That's not a problem, with beajolious day my one friend has cancelled so if I cancel aswell my other friend booked it.

Just say 'Dear (manager's name) Please accept this letter as notice of my resignation from Selco.  My final day will be 21 November.  Yours sincerely, Abbey (surname)

Don't forget to date it with tomorrow's date and sign it.

Question Author

And put selco on front of the envelope?

Yes - and the manager's name.  Give it to him/her by hand.

You put your managers name at Selco

Question Author

There's few managers I could give it to.

What's more important to you, going out on the lash or starting a new job? If you start asking for days off when you first start your job you wont give your employer a very good first impression

Question Author

I'm not asking for days off.

Give it to the most senior manager.
