For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It may help you to goto your local library to revise, or just to an environment where there are likely to be less distractions than at home eg tv, computer, radio etc.
It may also help you to write up a study plan with rewards for you self. For example a 1 hour break for every 2 hours revision.
Try to break your revision periods down into lots of shorter sessions which makes it easier to concentrate than long sessions.

You may well be one of those people (me included) that can't/couldn't/wouldn't do revision. My concenration span for things that I have no interest in is painfully short. As a consequence I did no revision for exams and only passed (A grade) those subjects that I liked, so basically that was Art, Engineering Drawing and oddly enough, English Language. I scraped through the rest but frankly that was down to more luck than judgement.
I appreciate that this doesn't help your predicament but you can take comfort in the knowledge that you are not alone!
