How long do I wait?

I had a job interview last Friday...the woman that interviewed me said she would let me know one way or the other early this week, early to me is Mon-Weds, do I take it i've been unsuccessful?

lol you two!!! Laurence you hit the nail on the head as to my feelings on work. We spend so much of our day there, why on earth would we want it to be a miserable experience?
I do think it takes a good few years to realise we are better than a crummy job though. I can't remember the number of flipping awful ones I had in my teens and twenties. Never go there again for all the tea in China.

I had an interview on a Thursday and they said they'd ring the day after (Fri) but they didn't so I thought, 'Oh well, I obviously didn't get it' but then they rang the following Monday to say I'd got it - so, don't give up hope! Sometimes, no news is good news! :o)

Let us know how you get on, so we can all have a celebratory drink for you!

hi Laurence, I work in a special needs school. I'm a teaching assistant with a group of strapping 16-18 year olds.
The other blessing of the job is, of course the hols as I have 2 kids under 10 and so have no childminding probs and get to spend time with them; I am so lucky I found a good place to be :: ))

I'm a train driver and my wife is a nurse, so with the flexibility of our shifts it gives us more time with how boys {14 & 11} tho the 14 year old at present seems to know it all and who are we to say otherwise:}

The only thing i look into suzy is the Glass window whats on the front of the train.

I see cows, horses, sheep and loads of country side, but unfortunately i cannot see over the horizon for your job offer. lol

So this train driving lark, do you do the same route each time laurence or do they vary your route, just so you don't show any favouritism to certain flocks of sheep/herds of cows?
