How long do I wait?

I had a job interview last Friday...the woman that interviewed me said she would let me know one way or the other early this week, early to me is Mon-Weds, do I take it i've been unsuccessful?

Put your wife on will ya, so I can give her details of how hard to slap you lol....I don't think she only interviewed 2 no but if she was supposedly going to make a decision "early" this week, why did she interview another one today if it's me she wants....I give up lol, maybe I don't want the job anymore lol....and put my feet up? it'll be sods law we'll be really busy, overbooked and I'll have a nightmare of a night!

erm....pass lol, shes a saint I do know that lol, I'm definitely ringing the other one up tonight from work lol, the lady I need to speak to isn't on until 10, may as well use the works phone as mine lol....

bet you've been dying to use that joke for years lol...the one I'm phoning/abusing the works phone with tonight is one I phoned about yesterday and they managed to get me an application form in the post after 5pm and I still got it today, so they have more brownie points already lol...

Congratulations on the 20 years, I've put up with mine for 22, Mrs L and I should compare notes lol

that's a b****r, I really hate companies that do that. They seem to forget that they were once in the position of waiting to hear about a job. Hope you hear 1st thing Monday and that it is good news.

I suspose your getting to the stage where the euphoria is beginning to wear off now.

Your best to give them a ring and be a bit more forceful tomorrow.

I've drawn my own conclusion...even if she phones and begs me to take the job I think I'm going to say no, all the "I'll phone tomorrow" business has just been words...my gut feeling is if that's how the company is right from the start then maybe I don't want to work there....sigh....NEXT!!

well...surprise surprise she hasn't been in touch! So pffffft! I definitely don't want it...their loss lol...I have an interview tomorrow so everything is crossed yet again!

Lol, so far she's done exactly what it says on the tin...application form received the day after she posted it, and phone call made to discuss salary and make an interview appointment the day she got it back so fingers crossed.....I went and had a reccy (how does one spell that lol) on saturday and it's a lovely place and I spoke to her at midnight from work and she was charm itself so fingers, legs, arms, knees and toes crossed.....

Shame on them for not having the decency to contact you at all. Sounds like you are better off. Good luck for your interview tomorrow. Everything that can be crossed is (although I need to spend a penny so I'll have to uncross my legs for a bit lol).

thanks howlie...I'm in OMG what does one wear mode now.....I live in my jeans during the week, can't wear what I wore last time cos thats jinxed lol...oh no I may have to go shopping lol
