Thinking for in advance
3 Answers
I am still in high school, but I think that I want to do something with History or Genetics. I have a few questions. First, does anyone know of a job where you could combine both?
Second, I'm still not SURE that's what I want to do, so I'm making sure that I'm getting four years of everything. Unfortunatly, this is a TON of work. Is this really worth all the work or should I focus on history and science?

Difficult to suggest anything if you are, I know the school system is different. But I would say, maybe cut down on the things you REALLY don't want to do! To be honest, history and science are pretty diverse anyway: if you are doing sciences, you'll want to keep the maths (math!), and if you're doing history you'll probably want to keep english so you keep up with the essay/writing skills. After that lot - most other subjects are extraneous once you get past a certain age I think? Things like art, PE/gym, home ec, band, you can keep them up in your own time if you're interested. Concentrate on getting good grades in the basics (english, sciences and maths) and then do what you enjoy. If you get to 18 or 20 and you find you've changed your mind, there's ALWAYS something you can do about it and with good grades in the basics all doors will be open to you.
