And as for 'he may have died' etc when it should be 'he might have died'.... a completely different meaning and it doesn't make sense! Oh dear, what a grumpy old woman I'm turning into!
Hi buenchico- I regard an Oxford comma to be no different to a normal comma. The Oxford comma just refers to the practice adopted in the US (and at Oxford University apparently) of using a comma after the 'and' in lists.
For example: the colours on the Union Flag are "red, white, and blue".
ahhh ok and we use the square ones in maths if we need brackets within brackets.

If you do any programming in 'C' you will soon get the difference between parentheses, brackets and braces

actually, I think {{{}}} are braces. But they're more to do with maths than wiht English.
