Are there any subtle means of finding old friends. I used to know a girl who came from Huddersfield but then I moved to Sussex and we lost contact. I don't necessarily want to rock the boat I'd just like to know how she is. She's probably married by now so her name will have changed. She went to St. Katherine's College in Liverpool.

Go to Friends Reunited and search on the college page. Friends Reunited is rubbish now, but you might get lucky. Or.... If you know someone who does genealogy and has ancestry.co.uk they can find if she's married.
