Attendance allowance

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the right category.
If someone gets the lower rate of attendance allowance would it affect the widow's pension and war pension.
The liereature isn't too clear on this point

Attendance Allowance stands alone as a benefit, regardless of income or any other allowances, so it doesn't affect any other pensions, etc. .
No it shouldn't as its not taken into account for other benefits. I always suggest contacting CAB who would do a thorough benefits check to ensure that you are getting all you are entitled too, its amazing how easy it is too miss something.
