Hallucinogens Legality
21 Answers
Hi I was just wondering why hallucinogens have been Mage illegal when we see daily deaths by alcohol? the reason I ask is because I am an alcoholic and I tried DMT 3 weeks ago and I have not touched alcohol since. I feel more loving to my family and I am now wanting to change the world for the better. If I never tried it my future would be bleak.

Join the club; I am an alcoholic, 'in recovery'. It messes with your brain, doesn't it, and wrecks your life ? Now, it is too late to ban alcohol. It survives as being seen as a useful social drug, though one that can produce temporary madness for an hour or two, notwithstanding that it can be seriously addictive and causes many deaths and injuries through fights and bad driving, and can be devastatingly addictive and fatal.
Why then would you wish to legalise any drug which alters perception, otherwise than having it used for purely medical reasons?

Pleased things have turned around for you uka (I wouldn't want to use though)
Just thought I' share this link as it might be a useful/helpful to someone out there - alcohol related.
http:// www.m-c -a.org. uk/cont act_us/ useful_ links
The medical council - alcohol
(It is aimed at the medical profession so heavy material in some parts) - you could become a member if you wanted. It was set up initially to help medical profession understand alcohol related problems and with this alot of doctors/medical professionals have alcohol problems and couldn't easily get support.
The advisors (support) are doctors etc who have in most cases experienced problems themselves so understand.
