as long as you haven't set up a sort of shooting range in your back yard and are buying pigeons in bulk, nailing them to a wall and inviting neighbours round for tournaments ...

Quite a strange question. Why would you want to shoot pigeons in my back garden? And to shoot an ill eagle isn't very humane is it?...Extremely aerie is this question.
