Kids and adults playing ball comes over regularly however, we normally throw it back. Now adults kicking so hard it is damaging plants and has hit me while eating outside. No reason apology ever given

Sorry does no one think its sad that someone is asking advice because a few kids and ADULTS playing in their own garden has kicked a ball over in to the neighbours garden?
My why not just shoot them and sort the problem out that way!!

Not really Islay....the problem is that these adults and children are stopping someone else enjoying their garden..that is unfair.... compromise is the answer.

I think the sad part is when neighbours fall out with each other, if I were on the other side of the fence from Robby I may suggest we try different games in the garden where the ball wouldn't go over - especially when Robby is out there.

It may not happen often...yet. But Robbie may want to nip it in the bud before it escalates. The fact that no apologies came is worrying.
Of course we don't know Robbies personality...he may be the neighbourhood grump. But he may also be the type who keeps to himself. Surely he's entitled to enjoy his own space without risk of damage to his garden or himself.
I admit, I'd feel a bit intimidated, and a bit unsafe if it was me. According to some on here, does that mean I should move? Would you?
