Getting A Spanish Passport / Dual Nationality

I am a British passport holder born here, my dad was British my mum was Spanish. Both of my parents have since passed away, can I apply for a Spanish passport? If I can would I have to give up my British passport? Thanks for any any help you can give me.

So you're entitled to a Spanish passport. You'll ned to make your application in person at the Spanish Consulate in London. Email [email protected] for further information.

You can hold both Spanish and British passports simultaneously.

Dual nationality classically is said only to carry extra duties and not extra privileges - altho here you will be wanting residence rights.
