When you buy a brand new ACER laptop from laptopsdirect.co.uk
They ignore all your pleas for technical support from day one - they claim to offer 7 days free software tech support

Thanks for that Steve Sxx - my daughter had looked at their site- definitley won't now. Try having a look and a post on http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/ There is a section on there which asks if people have had problem - vent board. I'm sure a lot more people would like to hear your story, and they have 86,000 plus member!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
