Its called selling the house. You either do the legal work yourself or get a solicitor to do it. Best ask him.
If you are not selling the property then you may be able to do it yourself, but it is not straight forward. You will need to find out the details of the title to the property from HM Land Registry, prepare a form TR1 (downloadable from the Land registry website, complete a form SDLT1 and send it to the Inland revenue, and when you receive back the SDLT5 register the transfer (TR1) at the Land Registry using a form AP1 and paying the appropriate fee. You may want to so some Land registry and other searches along the way. If the property is subject to a mrtgage you will need the lenders agreement to the arrangements.
