Hi, I have just received a fixed penalty parking ticket which I feel is unfair (nothing unusual there then!). I was parked in a layby (with a grassed area between the layby and the road) with a number of other cars. The layby had, apparently , been designated a temporary clearway but there were no signs up, no Police clearway cones and no other indication of the change. There were however, barriers and traffic cones (the normal ones) near the entrances but these had been pulled back (not by me!) to partly open the layby. When I returned to the car we had all been ticketed and the barriers had been put back. I intend to appeal with the belief that there should have been adequate (well at least some!) signage. Any comments / help would be welcome. Thanks
