She looks fab! I don't agree it makes a mockery of what she previously said. Lets face it, we're all getting older, and if you're overweight life is going to be a bit of an uphill struggle. Also mass weight loss can have a drastic effect on looks - ie some can tend to look aged in the face, but she doesn't at all - she looks great on it. Well done
Meg, I agree. Just because someone's said they were once happy being a "larger lady", doesn't mean they can't change their mind.
It's knocked ten years off her!
Morning All - I agree some people lose too much weight and it makes them age - good example of that was Fern Briton - I think she looked better in the face when she had more weight.
Weirdly, she came across as a happier person when she was bigger. More likeable, I think. Think she got a bit *too* confident/cocky after her huge weight loss, which is never a good characteristic.
Right. Gotta get on with some work now... Have a nice day! :-)
P.S Wasn't TOWIE good last night!
Here we go again about Pauline Quirke and weight loss - she is in clinical terms still over weight at 13 stone
Either of these women and others before her such as Fern Britton will lose as much as they wish to lose
They *only* look as if they have 'lost too much' because skin stretches and will now look saggy and as if it is hanging off bone, it isn't
Big Women cannot win - too fat or too thin someone will ALWAYS judge them
I stand by my first post - what I suppose I meant was no fat person is really happy with their over weightedness (yeah, I know it's not a word)
She looks fabulous. I know what she meant about being fat and happy - then you realise that you could be healthier (and possibly live longer) if you can get some weight off. Good on you, Dawn!
Mind you, splitting up with Lenny Henry and then getting a divorce may have something to do with Dawns's weight loss.
Also Jennifer Saunders has had cancer so maybe that was a medical "shock" to Dawn so she has decided to lose some weght due to worries about Diabetes perhaps.
