Yes, I would and have done, but apparently these people were so plausible that even financial advisors were taken in. The woman who spoke at the meeting in the second part had had her advisors look into the offers and thought they were a good deal. I thought last week that she could maybe have a case for a claim against her advisors. These conmen were very very good.
The conman who phoned the OAP in the 1st episode during filming was so blatantly aggressive it screamed in flashing lights "warning this is a con!!!!!!!"
