I'm going to spend some time over the next few months, raiding LoveFilm and Netflix for the best 'twist in the tale' films, and I'd like to get a head start with a list of films to view.

I've already seen quite a few (No Way Out, The Sixth Sense, Passengers, The Others, The Village, Orphan, Identity, Les Diaboliques), and need to compile a list the next lot to view.

Any suggestions?

A Beautiful Mind.
An Inspector Calls ... truly brilliant
Psycho
Jagged Edge for me
Carrie. Always makes me jump even though I now know about the hand coming out the grave, lol!
VERTIGO - Hitchcock thriller - saw it again the other night on one of the TV channels
Oh yes maisie, forgot Jagged Edge, that was brillant.
I got the twist in the Sixth Sense very quickly and was quite amused sitting next to my fella at the time watching it in the cinema as he blatently hadn't got it.

I watched Memento twice, loved it though I like stuff with twists generally, must be loads of TV stuff too. Recently like Ringer but maybe a bit more girly and if you don't like Buffy you'd be a bit stuffed :)

Still trying to think what that other film was called, bit like Identity! Involved a mini bus crash and a motel like place from memory.
Oooh Primal Fear! Good if you like things like Murder in the First (great film!).
Titanic?
The Others.
It's a little bit slow, but very poignant and eerie. Nicole Kidman is great as are the two kids. There's a surprise appearance from Chris (Dr Who) Ecclestone.
(RIP Eric Sykes)
Matchstick Men is a lighter version - good film, especially if you like Nicholas Cage.
Dressed to Kill
Damn! I should have checked back. Ok another go:
Secret Window.
No Sunny D not the titanic unless you watch the nazi version - that is quite interesting!!

Yep - love Primal Fear. Love it, love it, love it.

Did you know tht Ed Norton got and Oscar nomination (best supporting actor) for that?

I honestly didn't seeing coming. Really blindsided me.

Okay - got a few more to add.

An Inspector Calls
Matchstick Men
Secret Window

Everyone whose suggestions I've not acknowledged - it because I've seen them before (and Jagged Edge I've seen a few times because it's awesome)
ditto 'witness for the prosecution'

even has a message for cinema goers at the end, asking them NOT to reveal the twist ...
The boy in the striped pyjamas.
Se7en.
