I prefer something a little more upmarket.

Fab. The opulence and attention to detail impressive.

(I used to be a secret shopper for an American luxury chain, but this is a cut above what they asked for from our inspections, so [i[ very[i] interesting).
I need some new slippers and a robe, but not at that price.

you could millie - as it all becomes relative to your (immense) income......you adapt into it.

I have placed a co-director of mine in the past into Claridges, mind you at a low for London, for £130 a night......a steal. He loved it (surprisingly)..
There was one on a while back about another of the posh hotels (it had just had a massive re-furb), also v interesting.

I always go for quirky hotels DT. Church Street Hotel, Camberwell was a recent fun one.
It is a lovely place but I get embarassed when people fuss over me all the time, I suppose its better than not caring.

The other night we went for a meal and in the 2 hours we were there the waitress came over 5 times to ask if we were enjoying the meal which was a bit over the top.
My security guard has to stay with the tirara humber, but I expect the service there to be passable.
We stayed in a cheap motel in Las Vegas. On our second trip a friend treated us to a suite in The Mirage....I much preferred the motel. Guess I'm just a cheap date. :-(
