I am looking forward to seeing the film when it come out on dvd, have seen the show three times and love the music. favourite musical film so far, Grease.

you assume wrong chris........... i have seen west side story. many times. but its not one of my favourites.

Have seen many musicals but must say Les Mis is my all time favourite. Saw it in London with Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Matt Lucas as Thenardier and Norm Lewis as Javert. Absolutely stunning.

I have seen many musicals and les mis is by far my all time favourite, but I am talking about the london stage production, not the latest film version.

I was really up for the film having seen the london production a few times, once with Alfie Boe, but I was very disappointed. The settings were superb, though, but this is a musical and apart from that stunning performance from Anne Hathaway I thought the other 'singers' were dire.
