Serena Campbell reckons when she was in the Guides her mum used to laminate all her certificates to show to her friends. How old is she supposed to be or more to the point when were laminators invented for this sort of use? Didn't think it was that long ago.

In my day you had badges that you had to sew into the sleeves. How old do you think Selina is meant to be? I would have thought around mid to late forties? I don't remember getting certificates either!

Ex guide here and all my badges were sews on to the sleeves of my uniform. Can't remember certificates never mind them being laminated. I do laminate my grandkids certificates though - I'm a boring old fa*t of a gran lol.
