James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

Morning. Friday 13th tell me about it. Hija is trying to rent a car on my c/CARD but the bank didn't have my mobile number got validation. Wad in bank at 8 waited an hour got sorted. Raining

Good day. It is wet and cold here. We had a couple of drinks and tapas but came home early. He's snoozing with cat on top of him. I'm just playing around in internet.

OH looking a lot perkier today, and definitely less yellow. I am also enjoying some rest days. German friends kindly invited me round for dinner and lots of wine, which was a very welcome break.

Well done jno's OH and good for you jno having a good time. Bit of a grim and wet day yesterday. We had a takeaway curry for dinner and was very nice.
Sun's out atm but not too warm.

Another foggy one .We've been fogbound all week but there was a bit of watery sunshine yesterday afternoon.I hope we're going to see some of this sunny weather that's promised for next week but knowing our luck here on the edge I'm not holding my breath.
Pleased to hear the news about your OH jno and that you had a nice break and some company .I hope things continue to improve.
Neti ,are they still in America, and what's happened to Martha ? I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Morning. Sunny but windy and chilly. So warm yesterday and now this! Mr N has decided to start n renovating my kitchen finally! He's out looking for aluminium doors!!

hello all...had a busyish day today sorting out my understairs cupboard where he dog food and treats live, also coats, dog towels and so on. It doesn't really look as though I have done anything when the door is shut but I know its better. Hope everyone is well especially Jno's OH.

Come and do all my cupboards please woofy. I'm not a horder just lazy. But I do have clothes 20 yrs old that I still wear! And once I've sorted them and donated them I find i need them again!!!

OH has had a glitch, they changed the tube feed slightly, and it produced terrible stomach cramps; in running for the loo, the feeding tube came out because the agency nurse hadn't stuck it on with enough sticking plaster. OH has now been waiting for two days for it to be replaced, but they're still looking for an endoscopy slot.

OH is supposed to be gaining weight, not spending two days on a saline drip unable to eat.

Ah me, two steps forward one step back.

oh, and it seems my former d-i-l has got engaged. I hope she's learnt something. On the plus side, it means she's likely to buy jno jnr out of the marital home very shortly, so he'll have some money to go househunting so normal lilfe may resume at home (once OH can eat again).

Ah Neti ,I thought as much ,her mother has turned her into a proper communist.My guess is she goes back to Russia with her mother and they swap Martha who goes home to Philip ...am I close ?

I don't know, neti. He looks twice her age in the photos. I think her father left the family when she was 10 or so and she never got on well with her stepfather (a really nice guy), so with a little armchair psychiatry... Well, never mind, good luck to both of them.
