Matt Smith has quit as Dr Who. Can't say I'm sad as he was never a favourite of mine - Tom Baker or David Tennant are. But who is your all time fave Dr Who?

I have never liked Dr Who, but David Tennant would be my favourite because he's good to look at.
William Harnell was my first Doctor, but my favourite was probably Tom Baker. Those wonderful vowels !

On a related subject....Doctor Who back in the 60's was really scary, at least it was to me as I was barely 10 when it started. My younger brother and I used to hide behind the sofa when the Daleks appeared. It was even worse with the Cybermen. But when I look at those old episodes now, its hard to think how anybody was scared by a load of plywood and sink plungers.

While I am on the subject, does anyone else remember "Pathways to Venus" , from about the same time ?
Christopher Eccleston then David Tennant. Never been keen on Matt Smith.
John Pertwee! Simply because I grew up watching Dr Who with him playing the Dr ! Also liked Tom Baker and Peter Davidson.
David Tennant. His voice (and the rest of him).
Has to be David Tennant. One of the best actors on TV.
