I agree with you though, those not working at all appear to be better off than those holding down low paid jobs. Something is so wrong. It must be so demoralising for those people who are grafting but are still dirt poor and then there are those who think the world owes them a living - with their bloody dogs and getting their nails done, etc.
Cap benefits at 2 children after a 12 month safety net period.
Make claimants turn up all day, every day - at least until the amount they claim divided by the hours they attend for equals the minimum wage. I don't care how boring/futile this is - it should be part of the 'Lifestyle Choice'.
Treadmills to generate electricity would be a win/win solution - help with the power shortage and get some fat bastards a bit thinner and healthier.

Dave, I agree, your post does have a hint of The Daily Fail about it (lol), but, I also agree with the whole 'cap on benefits' thing.
I suggested, during a dinner party the other night, that we do as China do and limit people to one child. This was met with horror... Lol
But... it would solve a lot of our problems.
I have no issues with people receiving government help that truly need it, but it should not be open to abuse.
