Your average person relying on benefits doesn't have 50 kids (or however many she's got), nor do they have the latest tv's/phones/mod cons.
At a time when there are more and more people relying on food banks, and making that choice of 'heating or eating', stuff like this annoys me. It's stigmatising people on benefits, and that's no right.

i cant watch a program like this my hubby cant claim a damn thing , hes tirelessly looking for work after being made redundant , he has to ask me for money its totally demoralising and we are now scratching around using what little savings we had. some weeks i have to miss meals so i can put fuel in car to get to work but because i work we cant claim but yet people on benefits next door to me run a car have sky + and have a holiday how can that be right ?? they could work but she says she cant be bothered and that the tax payers can keep her and her fella !!!! i know there are some genuine people claiming and i dont begrudge them especially if they have kids but people like her make me very angry. rant over !!!!
Is "the bankers got us into this mess" going to be the justification for everything for the foreseeable future? Didn't the people stupid enough to borrow what they kinew they could never repay have any responsibility?
It's stupid to try and offset the dregs like this appalling woman against other wrong-doings and call it a draw! And, no, I don't lump all benefit claimants together, any more than I lump every member of other groups together.

One woman on the programme (11 children) gets the equivalent of £66,000 - doubt she needs food parcels. It's those people right on edge, teetering on the brink and filled with constant worry that I feel sorry for. Those on benefit and bragging, with their pedigree dogs and manicured nails, etc are the ones who need clamping down on.
