Greetings for the new year...Sometime during the bad weather and high winds we have been experiencing my outside aerial was blown askew ( as were many others no doubt) and now points skywards and records no signal.Until I can get it fixed I thought I would purchase a digital tv indoor aerial. Same arrived very quickly and so I connected it up and plugged in the power supply....not a flicker of life from the screen and then a message saying no signal which brings me to my main question...Since now everything is digital are indoor aerials redundant and if so is there an alternative.Once again AOB for 2014

You could buy a signal booster and point the aerial in the direction of the transmitter BUT.....

I tried THREE internal aerials, all better than the last, and my transmitter is only 20 miles but each time I got nothing. I gave up.
Greetings. I always found an improvement with reception placing the indoor aerial next to a window and pointed towards the direction of the transmitter, rather then next to a wall.
