He got out the car and threw it in the bin as he was walking towards the rest of the hotel.
Loved this series, and the pacing toward the end and the shocks were tremendous.

I understand that series 3 is already being written, which is good, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how they are going to sort out the issue with Martin :)
Many apologies to Saga fans, I guess as a Martin fan I was a bit pissed off with her.

Could anyone help me out by giving me some idea about what he might have been arrested for? Was it something to do with his involvement in the investigation of the family crisis that led to the death of Saga's sister perhaps?

The script-writers have made her into a fine caricature of what someone on the high end of the Aspergers spectrum might be like as a detective.

However to the best of my knowledge (and lets just say I have a personal interest in this condition) it is something that you are born with, while at the same time they keep suggesting in the sub-narrative that it was a reaction to her sister's suicide.

Great series though but really, is that part of the world really so devoid of colour. I certainly learned the virtue of the 'live pause' button as I went to get another can of one of Denmark's other famous exports!
Martin was arrested because he (we think) took the coffee to Jens in prison and he had put poison in it. Saga twigged and got the cup out of the bin and reported him. She went and looked at the phials and found one was missing.
Thanks I missed that.
I reckon it's a red herring and the cup will prove to have no drugs in it.

Well, I hope so anyway :)
What was in the phials (please ignore my previous spelling of it :() That were held at the station? Can't have been the same stuff as used to kill Viktoria could it?
Tigger, I think it was the poison that was put in fruit and other food stuff in the first couple of episodes, when we kept seeing the frog badges.
Makes sense Rocky :o)
Does get a bit confusing when you're concentrating on subtitles, still better than dubbing IMO. Are you going to give Salamander a bash?
Yes, although comments in today's Radio Times say it's nothing like the Bridge. I'll give it a go.
Sounds interesting and I'll give it the two Saturday instalments to convince me.
I'll give Salamander a go as there is nothing much that interests me on Saturday nights.
Saturday nights are not aimed at people like me at all. I can't bear these reality type shows and went off casualty about 10 years ago. I've just looked in the R/T and we've got the Winter Olympics on BBC 2 - oh dear. I think I must be a real dinosaur.
I agree Helly. Last time I watched Casualty was in the early 90s. Went off talent shows a few years ago so I usually watch dvds or trawl the other channels but Saturday nights a pretty boring. For me anyway.
Tigger - your 'vial' was correct - I just looked it up - so no need to apologise, both are right.
:o)
Salamander is worth a watch. Not quite the same as the Scandi Noir thrillers, but pretty entertaining all the same :)
Do yourself a favour and go to to the I-player and download Salamander. It makes The Bridge look pedestrian and it's in colour too!
Didn't like Salamander, colm - and the Bridge was in colour, not sure what you mean?!
