Brilliantly encapsulated in just 60 minutes; not dragged
out over multiple episodes. I also like what he said in the Radio Times piece too: "Why write drama that doesn't matter?"

I found it very emotional - didn't know such a law existed - is this only an English law? Certainly have never heard of it in Scottish courts.

I won't spoil it for anyone who is yet to watch it, but it really opened my eyes to a legal principle I'd never heard of before.

I'm normally a little ambivalent about Jimmy McGovern's work, but decided to give this fifteen minutes...and was hooked.

All round excellent performances...really very good indeed.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this featuring in the 2015 BAFTAs.

Powerful and gripping. Had no idea such a law existed.

Why was the brother released after being arrested? They obviously picked him up because he was the registered keeper of the car which was seen on CCTV; but (presumably) if his alibi checked out, wouldn't the police have asked who else had access to the car, who else might have been driving it?
