it makes me chuckle though when they sob because they miss their families as oh was in the navy(27 1/2 years) and was away for 8months at a time and we only had the blueies airmail letters to keep in contact x
mallyh - I am sure you would agree that someone who either marries someone in the forces, or has a partner who joins the forces, accepts that absences are part of the deal.
That's a lot different from people unused to separation and placed in a hostile environment with a load of strangers. Add in sleep and food deprivation, and the result is going to be tears.
Surely that fact that you know there will be separations does not necessarily make them any easier to bear. Three weeks (max)is a lot different to 8 months
Agree about Larry, doesn't appear to be doing much, he even put Scarlett up for the trial the other day, and has now taken over from Danny in bullying Martin.
Like to actually see him actually DO something other than sit there lording over his admirers.
It's is good entertainment on a dark winter night, their families and loved ones aren't too far away as they are in the Luxury Hotel a few miles away was reading today about them taking McDonalds into the hotel for food as they they are there on a room only basis and it is very expensive but apparently lowering the tone you would think with all their fame and fortunate they could afford a meal in the hotel!!
I found it strange watching Adam. Kept thinking he reminded me of someone. So I googled him. Of course he is Ryan Thomas's brother. Jason in Corrie.
Obvious when you are thinking straight. They are so alike, Adam also has a twin brother.
