The Yorkshire Vet

Anyone else been watching this wonderful documentary about the vets working in the Yorkshire Dales? Unfortunately I think it the series has finished now. I hope they make another one.

I've watched some of this series and found it really interesting, and was impressed by both partners' skill and dedication. But I kept wondering why they always wear ties when they're often working with filthy farm animals - they even wear them when operating! The ties look like they might be university ones, so are they some sort of 'badge' so that people recognise that they're vets?

Yes....I think its an old series too, so unlikely to be more. At the end of the last one I saw, its said it would be back at christmas but I have seen a christmas series, it was on last year.

I don't think it was an old series, I've watched all previous series. There is going to be a one-off at Christmas and a new series next year. The two gets also appear at the Yorkshire Show.
