I was the last Serviceman to travel down the Berlin Corridor before it turned 'Red' (closed off to military personnel) as The Wall was literally coming down.

Not mine exactly, but, husband sold a Steinway upright to Jamie Hince as a birthday gift for his then wife (Kate Moss). My husband also owns (he is a piano dealer) a Steinway grand piano which was taken off RMS Britannic, prior to her conversion to a hospital ship, and Ivor Novello's piano that was in the Theatre Royal in the 50's. Both of which are in our garage.
Was once crossing a very busy road in Liverpool when I realised the man stood next to me was Louis Emeric who at the time was playing Mick in Brookside which was very popular. He turned and smiled at me and I went weak at the knees! He is now playing Liz's love interest in Corrie ...
