Good Evening and welcome to Queenies Quay for this week’s Mad Over Fifties Club.
Tonight we are going themed...it’s Movie week so dress up as your favourite film character. I’ve come as Richard Hannay from the 39 steps.
Rahul has been to an educational class and has learnt basic ‘eengleesh’ his words not mine. He can understand please, thank you and bucket.
Tonight’s tailcock is The Storm. It’s a wild brew a little like the weather outside.
For eats we have a Mexican feast! We have chilli and rice, burritos (beef, chicken, pork and veg), enchiladas, tacos and corn fritters. We have the usual volly vents and horses doovers. On the pudding trolley we have ice cream and sprinkles.
Entertainment comes from the Tone Deafs, they are doing their own versions of 70s disco classics. We have in the cinema room the option to screen any film you feel like. So sit back and make yourself comfy. Popcorn and pick and mix is available. The Bungee is up and running so feel free to have a spring around. In the library we have the new editions from our Subscriptions The Trout Farmers Weekly, Goat Farming Basics Monthly and Backwards Hill Walking for beginners.
