Just found this on Forces TV - wonderful to remember one of my earliest crushes, Natasha Pyne, and to think that she is 73 now, and happily married for forty-seven years!

She would have been twenty-two when playing Patrick Glover's teenage daughter, and I was fourteen, and smitten!

It's great to relive some early TV - time to get my Prisoner box set out again!!

I am a huge fan, but not an obsessive, so, no I can't.

Will keep an eye out when watching again though.

I remember watching this first time round, I was in my early teens, and I was utterly captivated.

I had no idea of the concept of totalitarianism or the power of the state, or paranoia, or such vivid imagination decades ahead of its time, I just loved the whole thing, and still do.
Be seeing you!

And you ...
John Drake used that same method of purging his body of poison in Danger Man.
Ha ha, andy, you and your crushes! I had similar ones: the first was an actress called Isobel Black, happily still with us, though I don't think she acts any more.

BTW, if you want to see/hear how Alison King speaks, have a look at my link here:

Brainiac - Thanks, I am even more in love now!!!!!

Her 'real' voice is nothing like the strident tones she adopts for Carla.

It was, is, and will always be, landmark television.

I loved the novelty of it, the sinister undertones beneath all the superficial novelty and colour, it's just wonderful to watch.
prisoner, what great series..
