yeah that would be my weakness too TCL.
Why are you allowed a weakness, but others aren't?
"rug that goes under a New Zealand? " - that's a big rug, what's it called?
Jute rug
I thought Jeremy was 'pulling a flanker' with the Custer question too. I find it hard to believe that a man of his age would have such poor general knowledge.

//I don't think they put Gettysburg in the 4 because of a speech, do you?//

Actually, I do. The Gettysburg Address is one of the most famous speeches ever delivered. I thought everyone knew that…. but I was wrong.
Some might say Tora's been caught bluffing. :-)
Presumably TTT, you know a New Zealand is a rug, as everyone knows that...
....it fits under a New Zealand? what does it fit under?
? You answered yourself...

Yes but there was also a little battle there as well, naomi.

That makes 4 battles.
so a rug that fits under another rug?
"What about Matey, TCL?" Eh?
Matey...he's a soap character.
I know roy, but when Gettysburg is mentioned I'd hazard a guess that many think of the speech rather than the battle. I might be wrong, but I know I do.
Yes TTT... but if you have that much general knowledge and common sense, you will already know that.
My point was... that what is obvious to one person, may not be to someone else. It does not prove intelligence, just different interest.
who said anything about intelligence?
Nice swerve! :-)
naomi "I know roy, but when Gettysburg is mentioned I'd hazard a guess that many think of the speech rather than the battle. I might be wrong, but I know I do. " - doesn't matter you know it's civil war related so it can be ruled out.
Surely not when the other 3 are battles?

If the other 3 were

Fight them on the beaches
I have a dream
Ich bin ein Berliner

I would think of Gettysburg speech.
Absolutely, TTT.

Roy, I know what you mean. Even so I still think many would have heard of the Gettysburg Address if not the battle.
