I’m afraid we gave up on the medical thing years ago, and find Saturday night tv a bit of a disaster really.
Currently, for a number of reasons, we don’t have access to Netflix or amazon prime.
What do you watch and find marginally interesting on tv on Saturday evening?

Nothing at all really Vagus ,we often turn the TV off and listen to music via Alexa and enjoy one another's company
I am currently watching Last of the Summer Wine! Great memories of the lovely area, two grandchildren love it. There's never much on Saturday TV if you're not into amateur talent shows or reality TV.

We do that too, Bobby, although we don’t listen to music, just turn the tv off and read our kindles.
I’d really like to watch something though, just for an hour, but it’s all dire.

What’s last of the summer wine on? I used to love that.
We love Saturday TV...so bad that it's never on, at least "off air".
Gives us the opportunity to catch up on lots of things stored on amazon Prime....and all those smashing foreign series under the "Walter Presents" banner (More4 etc.)
We watch a film or drama that we have previously recorded.
Agree, there is nothing for us on tv. That is happening during the week now too. Also catch up with stuff on iplayer.
Music is my first love Vagus although we have very different tastes , he's into Floyd and Joe Bonamassa And I enjoy most things 80s but we do compromise
Same as Bobbi, listen to music, read, do the crossword all with a drink!!
Sometimes we dance together!!

Yikes Sharon, that really is a Saturday night treat ;)
Sharon , that's lovely
Watching John Bonamassa concert at Greenwich, July 2016 on Sky Arts. Recording The Revenant for OH. Saturday night is rubbish!
Never watch saturday TV except bbc4 if there is an excellent series like spiral
We like BBC4 on a Saturday night. Love Inspector Montalbano and Young Montalbano, Beck, etc. Haven’t watched The Wave though.
I started watching Celebrities Go Dating on catch-up. There are 154 episodes, so i figure something must be interesting.

I was wrong!

I am perfectly happy to admit that I have not heard of nearly all the 'celebrities' because they are Reality TV (oxymoron or what!) stars.

That said, I could not believe it is possible to find such a large collection of mind-crushingly tedious people to set up with innocent strangers - so I will be leaving the remaining 153 episodes unwatched - life's too short!!
Got Amazon. More on there than I can watch in the rest of mu life.

I need to cancel the licence fee as we simply dont watch live tv any more!
I'm with toorak and carole. BBC4 on Saturday. Usually very good Scandi or French series on. The Last Wave is a bit strange but watchable.

Must have a look at BBC4 next week, seems there may be something there worth a look.
We do have Netflix and Amazon Prime but as I said, for a number of reasons, we can’t access it right now.
Thanks everyone.
Vagus we've just 'fell upon' if that's the right words ,while trawling the channels , an insight to the brilliant yet very complex Bob Monkhouse , a docu of his life , he was a compulsive hoarder, BBC 4
I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, but usually stick to BBC4 on Sat evenings - unless it's Montalbano. Some of the 9pm double bill offerings have been very watchable. I think I heard the announcer say that next week will see us re-visiting the first ever episode of The Bridge. Very, very watchable.
"The Bridge" is it in English or subtitles?
