Hey peeps I dont usually get all political but..... hehe always a but. If you look at these statistics
https:/ /www.on s.gov.u k/about us/tran sparenc yandgov ernance /freedo mofinfo rmation foi/tot aldeath sin2019 and2020 sofarin theuk
Isnt this proof there is no pandemic? I understand that with lockdowns etc there will be less traffic accidents etc etc but also there are more deaths from diseases such as cancer etc because of the lack of treatment.
Anyhoo maybe I am wrong but what is all the commotion about when there is no significant increase in deaths?
If you look at the BBC they are saying hospitals are over run yet look at this lady's video the hospital is empty and she ended up getting arrested https:/ /twitte r.com/n innyd10 1/statu s/13435 2798497 6842752 ?s=19
Why are we being spoon fed fear and why does a bit of very basic research show this all to be not as we think?
I also know a lady with late stage lung, liver and cervical cancer die , get covid put on the death cert as well as one lady who died of dimetia.
None of it makes sense to me why does everything g contradict what is being pushed by the TV news?

It is that there are a number of people in the figures who have really died of other causes. Within 28 days of a positive test. That is stated at almost every briefing. Yes it quite stupidly includes deaths due to road accidents, cancer, heart disease and everything else. The time to be sure is when those figures are corrected, after a lot of staff examine the data...

I expect a number will show covid as a subsidiary listing.
An example being. Cause of death Cardiac Arrest due to myocardial infarction
Co morbidities. Covid 19 , COPD,
On the other hand you could have Cause of death Cardiac and respiratory arrest due to Covid 19, Co morbidities COPD, coronary heart disease.
Both would be picked up as covid deaths for statistical purposes, the first would also go on the heart disease statistics, The difference is one is death with Covid one is death from the virus. As I put earlier only subsequent data cleaning will give a final more accurate figure. If data cleaning occurs I would expect the excess deaths to be slightly lower but possibly not so much for the overall recorded covid deaths but I stress slightly lower. I admit I have never had to data validate during a pandemic but this is a best guess bearing in mind deaths are often not always assigned the right primary cause, but sometimes to something secondary to it.
We all eventually suffer cardiac arrest and die. it isn't a cause of death it happens as a result of something else but it appears on a lot of death certs.

dont worry Paigntonian
perhaps I am not the one to advise - - - but
depending on the original diagnosis follow up may not meaningfully prolong life. ca colon wh I had in 2000 - follow up detected second tumours in 10% of cases at 5 y. the other 90% it seemed not to matter
blood cancer which I then got 2012, relapse occurred between follow ups and the first blood test showed secondaries. I remain philosphical.

Wolfgang just because I make another statement does it mean that my previous was incorrect? If we go by your logic then each of your posts means that your previous one was completely incorrect. What a headache for you hehe. If you say its personal choice then why can we get arrested for breaking covid rules?
Yes Wolfgang I get that. But if you chose not to be at risk surely you could stay in or get the vaccine. Or you could even wear a chemical suit. Surely that is better than all the devastation caused by lockdown. No personal choice at all. Dangerous driving also effects others. Everything you do effects others. It makes no sense they are making a huge deal out of this.
Ukanonymous the link you provided showed that the deaths for all 52 weeks of 2019 were roughly the same as for the first 46 weeks of 2020.
The final 6 weeks were not taken into account because the report was published before those six weeks were up, let alone their data being available.
Once the data for those 6 weeks are available then they will show another 70000 or so deaths, roughly the excess deaths reported die to Covid.
Excess deaths is the best measure of deaths caused by Covid. 70,000 seems to be about the best number so far.
Of course the issue isn't just deaths. It's also hospitals being overwhelmed with sock people who take a while to recover. And it's long Covid, an ongoing condition that affects much younger people in general than the ones who are dying.
