James Nesbitt In Bloodlands

Currently watching this drama and I think James Nesbitt looks very different but can't put my finger on it.
He looks as if he has lost a lot of weight and/or had new teeth. He looks a lot older than 56.

Can anyone shed some light?

He’s had multiple hair transplants, the first in 2007. He’s been very open about them.

i like him, but he has changed, perhaps its the hair, didn't he have a hair transplant some while ago?

It's not the hair - he definitely is much thinner in the face. He looks like a once very fat person who has lost a lot of weight.
