Anyone Watch Both Versions........
11 Answers
.......of 'Before We Die'. Just finished the English version on All 4 and have to say i much preferred the original Swedish version, sub-titles and all. Both the mother and son in the Swedish version appeared a tad tougher than the two i've just watched. The villains were all a little more scary, too. Anyone agree, disagree?

I gave the English version a go but didn't continue after the first episode. I couldn't believe in the characters and thought the script was dire. I hope - if other people felt the same - it doesn't put them off watching the original.
That's what i referred to, JTH, when i said both the Swedish son and mother came over as much tougher than the English versions. I think Leslie Sharp was slightly miscast. Also the Croatian matriarch was much more to the fore in the Swedish drama
And i regularly visit All 4's WP section to see if he's sneaked any new ones in when i haven't bee looking :-) There are only a handful i've started to watch and not seen them through to their conclusion for whatever reason.
