If they are bemoaninng the demise of the 'white hetrosexual' in adverts then I can only assume they are also homophobic.
Its pathetic in this day and age to think people are getting 'outraged' as this sort of stuff. Thankfully , I'm sure its generational, as I don't know any people under 40 who have these attitudes. One day it will naturally die out I'm sure.

Anneasquith, well, yes, there is evidence that colour is the defining factor for some jobs - the BBC for example has recently ploughed £100 million pounds into ‘diversity’ which means, among other things, that BAME people will be selected before white people. On the other hand there are accounts of companies refusing to employ BAME people preferring whites instead. Google will help you. As for me, I didn’t mention black or white. The problem would appear to be yours.

Bobbi, FWIW, anyone who watches the BBC today is of a certain political persuasion. The vast majority of people would not applaud this ridiculous taking the knee.
I agree with you, they were wrong to be given an award, votes or no votes (and I would take the reports of "voters choice") with a huge dose of salts where the BEEB is concerned.
