Just caught 10 mins of comedy series DINNERLADIES, and was in hysterics at the character Bren’s mother, played by Julie Walters. Omg she was absolutely brilliant - but I guess you either loved her or hated her. Guess that goes for the whole series tbh lol.
Any others??

Loved this.

I wouldn't say I loved or hated anyone but I liked Rigsby in Rising Damp, most of the characters in the Carry On films, The Fast Show and Two Doors Down. Never saw the appeal of Basil Fawlty or the people in Monty Python.
Characters....George Regent, House (slight theme there). Blackadder, Melchett.
Basil Fawlty was not my cup of tea!
Stupid man.
I agree with The Fast Show...brilliant.
Oh yes, Hyacinth in Keeping up Appearances - fabulous !
Loads of favourites: Fawlty Towers, Python, Father Ted, Mighty Boosh, The Young Ones, Bottom, Spaced, Spike Milligan's Q, Hancock's Half Hour, Blackadder, Drop The Dead Donkey, Black Books, Red Dwarf...

The one show I found as funny as an orphanage on fire was Keeping Up Appearances. I know Patricia Routledge is a superb comic actress, but I couldn't abide Hyacinth Bucket. Found her completely unwatchable.
I loved Hyacinth Bucket too.
Sorry Shirley, I didn't check page 2 before posting my anti-Hyacinth rant lol
Norman Wisdom, absolutely brilliant.
Tilly- //I agree with The Fast Show...brilliant//

Scorchio!

*loved! ! Blooming predictive ! Lol.
She was great tiggs. I always try to watch the repeats even though I know them off by heart !
Another couple I never got on with where the two that most critics seemed to adore: The Office and The Royle Family. The humour in them both just seemed to pass me by. The American Office, although still not one I really liked, is far better.
I love Dinnerladies, and Julie Walters.
However I didn't like her in Dinnerladies. Sorry.
